Saturday Mornings at the Opera (Virtual)

LA Opera thinks you're never too young to enjoy the classics. Its Saturday morning program for kids returns in virtual form with a series of live online art and music workshops, including recorded opera performances.
The programs begin with two hours of music, dance and art workshops online with LA Opera Teaching Artists. These specially-created workshops encourage children ages 4-8 to explore the elements of an opera: costumes, scenery, singing and more.
May 22: Sing Out Loud: Spring Fling
A musical celebration of Spring featuring favorite LA Opera Connects artists.
10am Pacific, 12noon Central, 1pm Eastern
Reserve by April 26 to receive art supplies and goodies in the mail, (available to the first 300 families to sign up)
June 12: Open Door Days
The "doors" are open for participants explore the opera house and learn what it takes to be a great opera audience. This event begins with a guided virtual tour of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion followed by a magical opera performance.
