Mission Viejo Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony
The City of Mission Viejo hosts a Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony.
Marine Corps Colonel Seth W. B. Folsom is keynote speaker, with guest speaker and local resident Brigadier General (CSG) Denton Knapp, Director of the Tierney Center for Veteran Services. In addition, locals are invited to a drive-thru tribute.
To ensure more inclusivity, the ceremony includes an American Sign Language interpreter.
The program is featured on the City's YouTube channel. The ceremony also airs on local TV MVTV (Cox Channel 30 and AT&T Channel 99) with additional programming throughout the day.

For those local to the Mission Viejo California area, the City is also hosting a Drive-Through American Heroes Tribute May 4 -June 4 at the Mission Viejo Civic Center.The banners pay homage to American soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq and the families they left behind.
