Round up your little goblins and ghouls! Halloween weekend in Orlando is packed with fang-tastic events for all ages. Enjoy safe trick-or-treating on Halloween night at EEK-onville Trunk or Treat, Halloween at Cranes Roost Park, Halloween at Old Town, and Mall-O-Ween at the Oviedo Mall. Then, make the most of the nice fall weather with exciting outdoor festivals like Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire in Tavares, Fall Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola, and many more fall festivities. And for those eager to sleigh into the holiday spirit early, head to Bass Pro Shops this Saturday for Santa's Arrival & Kick-Off Event!

Halloween Weekend 2025 in Los Angeles: Trick-or-Treat and More Things To Do with Kids

Looking for the best things to do in Los Angeles this Halloween weekend? Here are some events and activities to add to your list for Halloween 2025.

This weekend in Los Angeles, there are many treats, along with a trick or two. The weekend starts with a Friday Halloween, which you can spend trick-or-treating in your favorite neighborhood, or scaring up fun at your spooktacular of choice, like the Lakewood Halloween Carnivals or the DTLA Halloween Festivals for Kids. Then it's on to Día de los Muertos: we recommend the annual observance at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the Self Help Graphics Día de los Muertos Celebration in East LA, and the Día de los Muertos Celebrations held at multiple Forest Lawn locations.

Non-holiday fun this weekend includes Day Out with Thomas in Perris, UCLA's free STEM festival Exploring Your Universe, and a Getty Center Family Festival built around the theme of Medieval Travel.

Families love to celebrate Halloween by trick-or-treating on Long Island, with its many walkable main streets, villages lined with festive shops, and elaborately decorated homes. 

You can stay in your neighborhood, where kids know how to navigate the houses, or you can take Halloween as an opportunity to explore new areas of Long Island. We’ve compiled a list of the best Long Island neighborhoods for trick-or-treating in 2025.
