PlayArts is an award winning playspace and neighborhood hub that provides programming and space for kids to turn their innate creativity into a superpower. Conveniently located at the convergence of three of Philadelphia's most popular neighborhoods–Fishtown, South Kensington and Northern Liberties–PlayArts offers something for everyone in the family. Its 4500 square foot venue is home to its arts-immersion preschool Monday through Friday, and open to the public on weekends for drop-in play in the playspace, family arts classes and kid-centered party and event rental. Services extend to offsite locations to include early childhood arts classes, afterschool and camp programming for school-age kids and coworking with childcare. With play-based learning at the core of its pedagogy, PlayArts offers a robust weekly schedule of classes and a wide variety of opportunities for hands-on learning and creative expression.
