Tiny Ninja
I love Tiny Ninja, a one man show that takes classic literature and performs it using action figures and other props. It's esoteric, but highly interactive, funny and even little kids like it, although some younger kids might find it slow. This weekend Tiny Ninja performs Treasure Island (perfect for any pirate lovers) at the Bowery Poetry Club on Sunday at noon. Tickets are $10. Not free, but worth it. Recommended for 6 and up. More info here.
UniverSoul Circus
The UniverSoul Circus started out as an all Black circus, now it's a hip hop extravaganza playing in Jamaica, Queens this weekend and next and then moving on to Brooklyn, then the Bronx and Newark. Tickets range from $15-25. UniversSoulCircus.com for more information.

They Might Be Giants have performed two sold out concerts that I haven't written about (why tease), but this one might not be sold out yet. Call now if you want to see them performing their kid songs on Saturday at 4pm at Le Poisson Rouge. $26? I still call it worth it.
And of course, the free ballet classes are starting this weekend as we previously posted.
