Da Krewe du Roux presents a twist on a Mardi Gras Chicken Run in Galveston!  Bring the whole family to have fun and give back to the community. Celebrate through the afternoon with yard games and a DJ with lots of Zydeco music.

Money will be raised for El Mina Shriners and the Ronald McDonald House of Galveston.  This is a donation-only event, collected the day of.  Please pre-register online.  Delicious complimentary chicken and sausage gumbo made by Queens du Roux to be served.  Drinks will be sold.

Family-friendly, all ages welcome! Da Chicken Run will be broken down into age-appropriate groups.  A signed waiver and parental consent will be required for all participants.

11:00AM - Welcome and history of event
11:30AM - Begin hayride to facades 
12:00PM - Live chicken chasing, divided by age groups
1:00PM - Gumbo served by Queens du Roux
2:00PM - Silent auction close
