Mister John's Music - Atlanta

Mister John’s Music serves hundreds of families weekly through their award-winning and highly-praised music education programs, offering an ever-expanding, wide variety of musical instruction for the whole family.

For Babies: Early childhood music classes boost brain functioning, motor skills and language development, while positive social-emotional dynamics and shared experience are the focus. With a huge variety of popular music, babies, and caregivers are all active participants. Through music, rhythm and movement, infants and toddlers learn about self-expression, teamwork, sharing, and empathy. Each class is jam-packed with surprises for both adults and children, with underlying messages promoting creativity, inclusivity and kindness, all delivered through a celebration of music.

For Kids: Kids’ instrument classes are designed to make learning a musical instrument fun. Each child learns in a supportive group environment with qualified, dedicated instructors, and they get to choose the music that they want to play. Using a combination of performance skills, music theory, and composing exercises, classes at the studio boost a child's confidence to perform in front of a group and participate in a team. After all, a band is a team. Group classes are an inexpensive alternative to private lessons and a great way to learn an instrument alongside peers with shared interests. Currently, the studio offers group classes in guitar and piano.

For Adults: Always wanted to learn how to play an instrument but didn’t know where to start? Mister John’s adult group classes foster a supportive and low-pressure environment to build your musical skills and get comfortable performing for and playing with others. Classes are designed for people who want to make music as a hobby, rather than a profession, and want to have fun doing it. Adult classes are BYOB and you get to help choose the songs you work on from your favorite artists. Let loose your inhibitions, pick up your instruments and your music folder, and get ready to jam!

Summer Camp: Rock and roll all summer with 4 uniquely-crafted weeks of jam-packed multi-disciplinary arts instruction for 5 to 10-year-olds. Campers will be actively engaged in dynamic instrument instruction, show choir, visual arts, percussion, and outdoor play, with a different theme each week.
