Season of Celebration Tree Lighting in Alpharetta
Visitors head to the town green in Alpharetta City Center (in front of City Hall) for the lighting of the giant Christmas tree. Families enjoy a hot chocolate party, selfies with Santa and meet and greets with characters from The Nutcracker.
Families are invited to stay warm this year by roasting marshmallows at the fire pits on Market Street or stepping into the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre’s igloo for Sugarplum Storytime.
In the spirit of giving, the City of Alpharetta is pleased to bring back its annual Holiday Food Drive, benefiting North Fulton Community Charities, from November 23 through December
15. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support families in need, receiving a festive jingle bell bracelet as a thank-you during the Alpharetta Tree Lighting.
