Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park
It's time to clean up the beaches at the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, with help of The Museum of Discovery and Science. Volunteers 8 years and older are encouraged to help make the beaches they love cleaner.
All children 16 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers should bring:
- a reusable water bottle
- sunscreen
- bug spray
- closed-toe shoes
- appropriate clothing for beach and weather
Water, Gatorade, and cleaning supplies are provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own equipment.
Entry fee to the beach is waived for volunteers.
