Downtown South Orange is home to this lively summer kick-off event, Under Cover Music Fest, which features six cover bands, as well as kids' activities provided by General Store Cooperative. A beer garden with no cover charge is available for adults.

Bands will perform hits by popular artists such as Aretha Franklin, Prince and Dave Matthews Band. Residents are welcome to bring their own food and blankets. Local businesses will be running specials as well.

Rain date is Sunday, June 2, from 3 pm to 9 pm.
