East Harlem Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Fri Dec 14, 2018
6:30pm ET
Age: All
Price: FREE
Location:
Franklin Plaza
The 15th annual East Harlem Holiday Tree lighting ceremony once again takes place at Franklin Plaza, northeast corner of Third Avenue and 106th Street.
The theme for 2018 is the historic Latinx tradition of quinceanera, which marks a 15-year-old Latina girl’s transition from childhood to adulthood. The color scheme of the decorations will be white, gold, and silver, and it will feature bows and crowns and lace to echo the bride-like attire in which the girls dress.
