Our Lady of Lourdes School
Our Lady of Lourdes School has educated the children of North Manhattan since opening its doors in 1912. At the root of our mission are Catholic values aimed at motivating and inspiring the future leaders. Our Lady of Lourdes School offers a rigorous academic curriculum infused with core character-building values for grades PreK-3 through 8th grades. OLL’s talented and committed faculty and staff strive to enlighten and nurture the entire child. We conduct dynamic interactive lessons by following the most up-to-date teaching strategies, offering academic enrichment programs and utilizing the school’s many technological and academic resources.
Our curriculum is in accordance with the guidelines set by New York State, as well as by the Archdiocese of New York. OLL students are taught in a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment, and receive individual attention to help them reach their fullest potential. In addition to the core curriculum of math, language arts, science, social studies, and religion, OLL offers Italian language instruction for grades PreK3 through grade 8. Students also receive computer, library, art, physical education, and music instruction. We continue to incorporate technology into the curriculum in every grade. Our Lady of Lourdes School works in partnership with organizations such as the The New York Philharmonic, The Metropolitan Opera, Dancing Classrooms and others, to incorporate enriched learning opportunities into our curriculum during the day.
