Thanks for such a great opportunity and amazing Jewish experience and for such a wonderful environment for our kids.

Sprout Brooklyn is a truly exceptional camp. My son had the most wonderful summer and it was by far the best camp experience he has ever had. We were so impressed with the staff and the incredibly nurturing environment they created. I was amazed by the amount of Hebrew my child learned in such a short period of time considering he didn’t speak a word when the summer began. We loved the focus on Jewish values and making the world a better place. It’s very rare that you get the chance to offer your child an experience that is both meaningful and fun. Sprout Brooklyn gave us the opportunity to do just that.

Sprout Brooklyn was fantastic. I have never seen my son more excited to do anything! The staff created a warm nurturing environment that was fun and engaging. I particularly felt Elyse the camp director was great and responsive to all issues. In my opinion. Sprout was exactly what Brooklyn needed - a fun Hebrew/Israel experience! I would recommend it to anyone who treasures the values it promotes. . The camp is awesome!

Highly recommend Sprout Brooklyn based on the incredible time our 5 year old had there last summer. He loved each and every day there and still sings the camp song months later. We were highly impressed with his whole experience specifically, the wonderful engaging counselors; quality and breadth of activities including their fantastic swim coach and special events for each Shabbat, end of camp party, live animal meet and greet etc; smooth communication before, during (e.g., daily emails updating on the activities of the day, photo gallery) and after camp (my son was thrilled to recently receive a birthday card from SB); smooth transportation to and from camp (individual bus stops proximate to campers’ residence) etc. Sprout Brooklyn was critical in further strengthening our son’s Jewish Identity and developing his love and knowledge of Hebrew. We recently relocated to Duchess county and so unfortunately cannot send our son there for 2016 but plan on sending him the Sprout Lake sleep away sister camp when he is older based on our experience at Sprout Brooklyn.

I love Sprout Brooklyn! What an amazing place. My daughter went there last year and loved every second of it. The staff is amazing and super attentive- Elyssa leads a top notch group and is always there for you when you need her. I can't wait to send my daughter again next year– and she can't wait either. It's a truly wonderful place that really understands what you want from a Jewish Day Camp- the emphasis on learning Jewish values and culture is felt every second of the day. And that THEME SONG! It gets stuck in your head forever.

I have two very different children so I was worried about finding a camp where they would both be happy. Sprout Brooklyn completely exceeded my expectations. Both boys loved swimming and being outdoors in the sunshine. It is usually impossible to get them to tell me anything about their day but everyday the bus dropped them off after camp, they couldn't wait to tell me all about the fun activities they did, the Hebrew they learned and their new friends. They also sang the Sprout Brooklyn song day and night:) I am so grateful to have found a place where my boys can be themselves and are surrounded by people who love them.

My son had a wonderful time at Sprout last summer. In fact, when we told him it was his last week - he cried hysterically and we signed him up for one more. My son loved both the indoor and outdoor activities. He found all aspects engaging, including the singing, Hebrew, sports. He made new friends and got closer to old ones. He has been talking about next summer since last summer ended. I would recommend it to any family for which Jewish values, Hebrew and fun are important.

The support, kindness and true joy from everyone on staff made it so easy for my child to adjust quickly to a new environment. When our time was over, I was told, "I'm going back to Sprout next summer". It's a wonderful feeling knowing that for those short summer weeks, you made the right choice for your child. The connection lasts all year. We also received a Happy Birthday Card, periodically we get "how are you" emails from the Director, having that makes you part of the Sprout family, not a number.

Highly, HIGHly recommend. Our 6-year old absolutely loved it. The staff was incredibly attentive and nurturing;p the administration, totally buttoned up yet also super warm. I was expecting a lot more bumps in the camp's inaugural year last year, but it turned out to be an incredibly smooth, well-managaged experience - with a very thoughtful camp curriculum, and counselors/administrators checking in with regularity. Elyssa (Exec Direcotr) and team are an impressive bunch, and you can just tell everyone loves being there- campers and counselors alike. My son still sings the songs from camp and has even taught his 3-year-old sister. We'll be back...

Both our kids, ages 4.5 and 3.5, attended Sprout Brooklyn last summer. They both had an incredible summer, and came home off the bus every day bursting at the seems to tell me all of the fun things they had done in the day. Within the first week they were saying words in Hebrew and singing Hebrew songs that I remembered from my childhood at summer camp. What most impressed me about Sprout was the program. My kids came away from camp with a sense of Jewish values and Israeli culture that surpassed our expectations. They still sing songs now and talk about their friends and counselors by name. The camp is small and intimate, and everyone, including Elyssa the camp director, knew every kids name. There was such a personal touch to the camp and it was obvious that this was felt by the children through their immediate ease and excitement about this 'new' camp. I can't recommend Sprout Brooklyn enough!!! We can't wait for the summer!

My 7 year old daughter loved the first year of Sprout Brooklyn. The camp has a unique, small, warm, supportive environment. Activities are fun, well planned and allow for new surprises each day. Elyssa, the camp director is very responsive and easily accessible for any questions or concerns. My daughter is excited to return and my son in kindergarten will attend as well.
