PlayTogether NYC is a unique community school that celebrates the joy of learning through play. The school is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and the staff and teachers care about and support the families within this community. Programs include a 3s program and a DOE-funded Universal Pre-K 4s program. As a play-based program, PlayTogether is a wonderful environment to help foster social skills, social learning, and analytical reasoning in children. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, PlayTogether's small-group setting provides a secure space to ensure children’s health and safety.
PlayTogetherNYC also offers an engaging summer camp for 3- and 4-year-old children. This year's program has been adapted to suit the needs of this generation of children, who have missed school time and crucial time needed to build social skills. PlayTogether has designed a program that includes classroom play, circle time, and choice time, as well as abundant outside time (including water play), which is greatly beneficial to children.
PlayTogether has partnered with Hands On Hoops and couldn’t be more excited to offer students private basketball classes three times a week. Kids will learn how to be positive teammates, how to follow directions, and the importance of sharing, all while playing basketball in a fun and engaging way. Learn more at HandsOnHoops.com.
PlayTogether's summer program runs five days a week for six weeks. Parents are asked to make a four-week commitment out of the six. Financial aid is available.
