Playgarden Prep Park Avenue
Playgarden Prep has focused on creating educational and developmental programs for the littlest learners since its founding in 2007. Playgarden schools and education centers use a combination of Montessori-based curriculum, tailored songs and language curriculum, and other popular learning methods such as Reggio-Emilia, Waldorf, High Scope, and Play-Based learning.
The Park Avenue location (located on 86th street and Park Avenue, on the 4th floor of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church) was founded in 2023 to expand program offerings to Upper East Side families, including:
- Preschool and Pre-K
- Early Learning Pods
- Enrichment Classes (Music, Movement, & Early Learning)
- Afterschool Pods (Reading & Writing and S.T.E.A.M.)
- Weekend Birthday Parties
- Summer Camp
All offerings at the Park Avenue location include time on the rooftop playground.
