Harbor Haven Camp
Harbor Haven is a comprehensive, nurturing summer day camp program in a beautiful private-school setting with an outdoor heated pool. Children and teens ages 3-18 with mild special needs can experience summer camp activities such as athletics, swimming, nature, performing arts, cooking, photography, computers, arts and crafts, yoga, trips, special events, entertainment, and more. Social skills training, daily academics, speech, and occupational therapy are special components of the Harbor Haven program which help prevent regression and promote growth.
Harbor Haven’s renowned Reverse Inclusion feature uniquely allows non-IEP peers to join into camp groups; siblings of HH campers can attend at no cost for two weeks. Teens ages 16-18 can attend “The LIFE Program” at Harbor Haven, a special 5-week fun/learning transition program, and TravelQuest, a dynamic, exciting 2-week day travel option. Harbor Haven has a 1:3 staff-to-child ratio. Transportation can be provided in most cases.
