Winter Wonderlab Science
- see all dates
Are you a future meterorologist or just intrigued by the weather? This exhibit helps kids to experience, understand, and question why weather happens and why Florida weather is so different from anywhere else in the world.
Enjoy demos, exhibits, and IMAX movies such as,The Last Glacier, The Arctic, Everest, Antarctica, and Arctic: Our Frozen Planet. Have fun by practicing your aim with Science Park “Snow Ball” target shooting, seeing a Nitro show, and participating in other Winter Wonderlab activities.
Just for early learners (ages 0-6): Observe which material melts ice faster, how a snowstorm can appear in a jar, experience misty bubbles, and create snowball painting and winter magic watercolors.
Please note on Sundays the museum is open from 12pm - 5pm.
