Rails To Victory at Gold Coast Railroad Museum
Sat Oct 5, 2024
11:00am to 4:00pm ET
Age: All ages
Price: Free entry
Location:
Gold Coast Railroad Museum
Climb aboard and step back into the Miami of 1945. A time of Art Deco, swing music, and the World War II. Glimpse what Naval Air Station Richmond was like when soldiers, sailors, and airmen rushed around on the land that the museum now sits on.
Walk through the rail cars and speak with historical interpreters, dressed in the uniforms and clothing of yesteryear. Hear the stories of the men and women of the Greatest Generation, and learn of the sacrifices made to keep this nation free.
See displays about the Allied and Axis forces of WWII, to better understand who the United States fought alongside… and fought against.
