Day of the Dead Celebration
The 15th annual Day of the Dead Celebration features traditionally inspired music, dance, food, drinks, and face painting. This event invites the local community to celebrate a centuries old tradition and offers a taste of the pomp and circumstance that has inspired celebrations like this throughout the world.
The Day of the Dead Festival, hosted at Esplanade Park, will showcase traditional performances, larger than life puppets, face painting, authentic cuisine, crafts, and more. The Day of the Dead Stroll will be a beautiful processional accompanied by incredible costumes, huge puppets, and festive spirits. The Stroll begins at Esplanade Park and ends along the New River, using the Riverwalk to lead guests back to the Festival grounds.
Admission is free and the daytime festivities are fun for all ages.
