Santa Monica Library celebrates puppy love with four-legged fun for all ages, including Family Story Time with Mayor Gleam Davis.

Kids can  read to a dog with Paws 2 Read, (call 310-458-8621 to reserve a time slot).

Among the ten Canine Crafts & Activities are turning your small dog photo into a button and decorating a doggy bandana. Guests can learn about pet adoption and other services from the Santa Monica Animal Shelter, Forte Animal Rescue, and Michelson Found Animal Foundation.

At 1pm, there is a screening of the  "dog-umentary" Pick of the Litter, which tells the tail of 5 pups trying to become guide dogs.

NOTE: This event is for human dog-lovers only! Please leave your dog at home, as pets are NOT allowed in the Library.
