Downey welcomes the community to its annual tree lighting ceremony.  The season is ushered in with entertainment from local schools, a snow play area, arts & crafts and photos with Santa Claus.

The Downey Lions Club serves up free hot chocolate and candy canes. Additional refreshments available for purchase.

The tree lighting ceremony is held at about 6:30.
