Fifty years ago this July, the United States achieved what had once seemed impossible, sending three American astronauts to the moon.

NASA Solar System Ambassador Rosanne Sachson visits the Fairview Branch Library to share some of the history of the Apollo missions. 

All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend, and anyone with mementos of the moon landing are encouraged to bring those items and share. 

Children attending get a free sample of astronaut ice cream, while supplies last.
