Participating Regal and Edwards Theaters in Southern California present the Summer Movie Express program, showing family-friendly movies on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for the barely-there price of $2 per film.

There are varying start dates and weeks of participation for this program, depending on the local school calendars.  In the LA area,  most theatres start their programs sometime in June. The program runs for 9 weeks.
