Heal the Bay Aquarium

Heal the Bay Aquarium inspires understanding and protection of Southern California's coastal waters, watersheds, and marine life through education, science, advocacy, and action. Located at beach-level just below the carousel at the Santa Monica Pier, the Aquarium is open to the general public daily and offers wildlife science demonstrations and feedings.

The Aquarium features over 100 local animal and wildlife species as well as hands-on activities for families and kids of all ages. It is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the Pacific Ocean and marine science without getting your feet wet. Visit the gift shop for zero-waste goodies, animal plushies, green travel essentials, limited-edition Heal the Bay gear, and more.

The nonprofit organization Heal the Bay hosts an enriching virtual Aquarium Science Camp program with distance learning, animal and wildlife exploration, science experiments, live demonstrations, and fun in mind.
