Holiday Festival in Greenport Village
The Greenport Business Improvement District presents the Greenport Holiday Festival Nov. 30-Dec. 31
Nov. 30: Small Buinsess Saturday; shop several independent stores for the holiday season.
Dec. 6: 6-9pm; Greenport Gallery Walk; affordable art, refreshments and demonstrations at participating galleries throughout Greenport.
Dec. 6-7: Shellabration; restaurant walk featuring dishes crafted by local chefs (tickets required)
Dec. 6-7: 12-5pm; Eggnog & Cookies at the East End Seaport Museum
Dec. 7: 5pm; Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting; join local school children in singing carols at the tree lighting in Mitchell Park and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate.
Dec. 7-8: 10:30am-2pm; Santa Comes to Town; Arriving at noon aboard a LIRR Greenport Scoot at the Railroad Museum of Long Island, located at 440 4th St., he will be giving out presents to little children. A Lionel Polar Express train set will also be raffled off.
Dec. 14: 2-4pm; Letters to Santa; The Little Red Schoolhouse will be open for writing letters to Santa. Attend the holiday poster awards ceremony as well. Skating with Santa at Mitchell Park is also on tap - weather permitting!
Dec. 21: 2-4pm; Driedel & Ornament Decorating; decorate your own at the The Little Red Schoolhouse
Dec. 22: Sundown; Menorah Lighting; followed by refreshments and latkes at the Temple Tifereth Israel, located at 516 4th St.
