The School House

The School House is the most sought-after elementary education on Long Island but made affordable to all hardworking families!

TSH and the new American Emergent Curriculum (AEC) have a simple mission—to connect what they know works in education with what everyone loves about traditional American schools. Instead of relying on just one pedagogy or one set of standards, The School House thoughtfully combines the most effective ways of learning—an academic Montessori foundation, project-based learning, critical thinking, group dialogue, and Art & Design Studio (Reggio-Emilia)—with the things we all grew up with and loved in pubic school—access to great sports programs, performing arts, civics, and a lot of economic diversity. The result is a highly integrated curriculum serving a community of learners who thrive not just academically but emotionally, socially, and physically in the most crucial time of their young lives, 3-13 years old.

Other areas of the AEC: School Spirit & School Care, Kindness, Nature & Botany, Spanish Language, Integrated Tactile Technology, Parent Enrichment, Field Trips, Sports

The American Emergent Curriculum is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) at The School House offering pre-K through 8th grade elementary school with an integrated, hands-on curriculum.
