Kidville University is a social preschool alternative program that promotes learning through child-directed play and exploration. Within the structure of KVU's daily routine, children are encouraged to participate and move between activities according to their own interests and curiosities. A mix of child-initiated and teacher-led activities provide opportunities for creative expression, fine and gross motor skill development, and problem-solving. Open-ended questions within large and small group activities support a toddler's emerging language and social skills.

KVU’s 1:4 teacher-child ratio ensures individualized attention and a caring lap for each child as he or she makes the first transitions to an independent class. Teachers work closely with families to tailor and structure the separation process with sensitivity to the needs of each individual child and his or her grown-ups.

Sessions available in fall & winter. Private tours available; call to schedule.
