Pierce Country Day Camp
Established in 1918, Pierce is America’s first day camp. Pierce is proud to be in its fourth generation of hands-on family leadership and believes it shows in every aspect of camp. Located three-quarters of a mile off the LIE on 27 acres in Roslyn, Pierce boasts the best camper-to-counselor ratio in day camping; seven age-specific pools (including an indoor pool and water park); unparalleled sports, arts, and adventure facilities; and its own school bus company.
Pierce's mission is short and sweet: Children First. The dynamic program emphasizes personal growth, friendship, and fun while providing experiences that build self-confidence, life skills, and cherished memories. The staff pours incredible energy into every aspect of camp; to them, camp isn’t a job, it’s a way of life. It's been their passion, pledge, and purpose since 1918.
