Campers are in groups in the morning with no more than fifteen campers and are supervised by a counselor and assistant counselor. In the afternoon campers choose their activities, and these activities change every two weeks. The last two weeks of camp are day trips for the entire camp. Transportation, early/late care, and hot lunch are part the tuition. Camp W offers activities such as athletics, creative arts, and many other unique activities. Camp W prides itself on small group sizes to offer campers extra attention for supervision and instruction.
On rainy days, they have an indoor facility with a gym spacious enough for several activities, including basketball, floor hockey, wiffle ball and dodgeball. We also have seventeen air-conditioned rooms for activities such as, Virtual Reality, Cooking, Arts & Crafts, Rocketry and Game Room. All swimming is done at the Dix Hills Park Swimming Pool.
