Take advantage of the beautiful weather and warm breezes while you still can! New Jersey is packed with fun this weekend, so get out there and make some summer family memories. Check out the Peach, Princess & Pirate Party at the Camden Children’s Garden, head to the Butterfly Festival at Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed or squeeze in an educational outing at Morris Museum’s Money Madness event. Peach, Princess & Pirate Family Party (Camden, NJ)
Camden Children’s Garden is celebrating all things kid-friendly and summer this weekend! Little ones can don full princess or pirate gear (and hey, why not mom & dad too?!) and wander the beautiful gardens or participate in one of the many activities such as treasure hunts or themed crafts. And since peaches are in season (and won’t be for much longer) enjoy the homegrown Jersey variety, ice cream and more at the concession stand. All ages welcome. Saturday & Sunday 1-4pm. $6/Person, Children 2 & under are free. 856-365-9741

Down on the Farm Weekend (Cape May, NJ)
Visit the Historic Cold Spring Village this weekend for a little farm fun before the busy fall season. Parents and older kids can get a dose of history as they watch horse-drawn farming demos and learn about both antique and modern farming equipment through educational exhibits. Little guys will love petting barnyard animals, taking a carriage ride and of course, romping through the always popular hay maze. All ages welcome. Saturday & Sunday 10am-4:30pm. $10/Adults, $8/Children 3-12, Children under 3 & members are free. 609-898-2300

The Wizard of Oz (Manasquan, NJ)
Follow little Dorothy Gale, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto on their adventure down the yellow brick road to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Algonquin Arts Theatre’s summer extravaganza includes a cast of more than 50 playing characters that have been beloved generation after generation including merry munchkins, melting witches, menacing monkeys and of course the great and powerful Oz. All ages welcome. Show times Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 1:30pm & Sunday at 3pm. Ticket prices vary ($15-33/Person) depending on seat location.

Butterfly Festival (Pennington, NJ)
Enjoy the warm and breezy weather this weekend at the Stony Brook-Millstone’s Metamorphosis Butterfly Festival. Check out the beautiful butterfly art gallery, butterfly metamorphosis exhibits and even catch the butterfly parade. Live kids music and interactive nature stations will keep kiddos engaged and entertained Round out the day with a guided hike and a bite to eat from one of the local food vendors. Money Madness Family Festival (Morristown, NJ)
Combine some indoor fun with an educational twist at the Morris Museum this Saturday. Their Money Madness event will teach kids all about the fascinating world of money.  Get everyone involved and play some Money Bingo, invent your own currency and learn the basics of bartering. Creative types will get a kick out of minting their own coin and designing new monetary symbols. All ages welcome. 11am-4pm. $10/Adult, $7/Child, Members are free. 973-971-3706

Wolf Visions (Newtown, NJ)
Head to the picturesque Kittatinny Valley State Park for some fun with wolves this weekend. A park naturalist will dispel those “big bad wolf’ myths and explain why these beautiful forest creatures are so important in maintaining a balance ecosystem. The presentation will feature an informative slideshow and a Q & A session at the end. Then your group will have the chance to meet a real wolf, up close & personal! Festival of the Sea Carnival (Long Beach Township, NJ)
If you’re making the trek down the shore this weekend, check out the St. Francis Festival of the Sea Carnival on Sunday night. Old fashioned carnival fun will abound as you hop on the Ferris wheel, the big slide or the Tilt-a-Whirl. Play some carnival games and then round out the night with some sugary eats like funnel cake or cotton candy! All ages welcome. 6-10pm. Free admission, $20/Person unlimited ride ticket. 609-494-8861
