Looking for the best things to do in Los Angeles this weekend? Here are some of our favorite events and activities to add to your list this weekend

It's the weekend before Christmas, and we are going all in on the holiday spirit. We've booked our Passport to Santa for a magical North Pole adventure to visit Santa Claus. Our holidays get a Mexican spin at the Soraya's annual Nochebuena Christmas Spectacular; this year's show welcomes Mexican actress & singer Ximena Sariñana. And we celebrate the last of Hanukkah's eight crazy nights, with menorah lighting ceremonies at Lomita City Hall, the Reagan Library, and more!

It's the weekend before Christmas, and NYC is ready to make a joyful noise during Sunday's Make Music New York festivities, which bring a cacophony to city streets, including the Bell by Bell performance at Astor Place, the Flatfoot Flatbush in Brooklyn, and more events citywide.

We've reached the final weekend before Christmas, so it's a perfect time to grab some last-minute quality time with Santa at events like the Mill Race Holiday Village, where guests can meet Santa and the Grinch while enjoying a bounce house and petting zoo. Or, head to the Liberty Science Center's Santa Pajama Party, which includes a sock skating rink, live entertainment, and a fluffy snowball fight.

'Twas the weekend before Christmas and all through North Texas, Santa will be making an appearance (or 10)! Say hi to the guy in red during Santa Saturday at Klyde Warren Park, at Breakfast with Santa at The HUB in Allen, or at Community Beer Co. in the Dallas Design District. Concerts are a THING this weekend, so if music is what you want, the Dallas Symphony is performing its last Christmas Pops concert of the year at the Meyerson in the Arts District, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is making a stop at American Airlines Center, and the beloved Polyphonic Spree's 22nd Annual Holiday Extravaganza is happening at the Majestic in downtown Dallas.

Hanukkah kicked off last Sunday! Take part in fun festivities like the Hanukkah Cookie Playdate with Red Bandana Bakery at Pink Moon in Bethesda. 

If you want to stay warm this weekend, there are lots of holiday shows happening. The Christmas Wish, Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins, and Step Afrika! Magical Musical Holiday Step Show are just a few. There were still tickets available at press time, but hurry before they get snapped up!

Feel like braving the cold? This is the last weekend for the free Lighted Nights at Claude Moore Park and the holiday markets in DC. Christmas Illuminations at Mount Vernon also takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
