Get ready for summer vacation! Things to do in Atlanta this month include Juneteenth celebrations, Father's Day, and lots of summer festivals.

Kick off June in Atlanta with the popular Butterfly Festival at Chattahoochee Nature Center, featuring food, entertainment and butterflies. As June continues, celebrate Juneteenth with the Downtown Juneteenth Parade and Music Festival June 16-18. This month brings cool characters to Georgia like CoComelon Party Time, an all-new interactive experience, launching for the first-time ever in Atlanta and staying for about two weeks. Families can take a two-hour drive south to Cordele, GA for A Day Out With Thomas, a must for fans of the beloved tank engine.
