Family Coding Event at The Children's School
The Children's School in Midtown invites families to explore computer programming using a Micro:bit - a small micro-controller with a built-in LED matrix, buttons, and accelerometer on Saturday March 7 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
In this workshop, students in grades 2-8 are expected to learn coding basics, make an instrument, create a robot, build a pet, and let their imaginations run wild.
Participating families will be able to take home their projects.
Families are encouraged to RSVP as the event is event is free and open to the public and space is limited to 30 families.
The coding event will take place at the The Children's School Gym at 345 10th Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309. Parking will be available along 10th Street in front of the school.
