Parade spectators and participants enjoy this nighttime event that lights up the BeltLine. Taking place on the Westside trail, visitors to the parade can expect to see colorful floats and magical creations lighting up the BeltLine. Actual parade starts at 8:45pm. 

For kids too young for the late hour of the parade, check out the pre-party at Pittsburgh Yards from 2 PM – 7 PM. Festivities to include weekly market, a lantern making workshop, and kid lantern parade. 

12:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Free Family Lantern Making @ Pittsburgh Community Market
5:45 PM: Children’s Lantern Parade @ Pittsburgh Yards
6:30 PM: – 8:00 PM: Pre-game vendor market and mingle @ Adair Park I
8:45 PM: Parade step-off
9:15 PM-ish: Lantern Finale “jam session” @ Lee + White
9:30 PM – 10:30 PM: After party @ Lee + White
