Music lovers enjoy the sounds of the Alpharetta Symphony as they celebrate women in music. Featured is the first symphony composed by an American woman, Amy Beach’s Gaelic Symphony and a work by a living composer who often writes for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, August Read Thomas.
