From Earth Day to Passover and Easter, ring in spring this April with tons of things to do in Los Angeles for kids. Don’t miss our favorite activities taking place in Los Angeles this month.

This April, kids can keep busy searching for all the eggs the Easter Bunny has hidden. Springtime festivals galore are in full bloom in Los Angeles throughout April, from the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books to the California Poppy Festival. Kids can touch a- ruck - and a bunch of other vehicles -  at the 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck at Discovery Cube LA. Puppet is the word of the day at both Bob Baker Day and the Skirball's Puppet Festival.

April is one of the best months to be out and about in DC. Easter egg hunts, cherry blossoms, Earth Day, theater, and festivals are just some of the highlights.

The National Cherry Blossom Festival continues this month with some signature events, like the Sakura Matsuri Festival, and Petalpalooza. If your family wants to continue to celebrate nature and care for the Earth, there are plenty of opportunities, including Earth Day Fairfax at Sully Historic Site.

From Spring festivals and Easter to Earth Day and Passover, there's lots of fun for kids in Atlanta this April! 

We start April with spring break 2025 for most Atlanta students, and families who stay in town will have plenty of options for seasonal entertainment at Stone Mountain Park and Six Flags. Spring into April in Westchester and the Hudson Valley with a jam-packed schedule of things to do, including festivals, shows, and outdoor fun. 

Take a ride on the Easter Bunny Express in the Catskills or hunt for Easter eggs with Bluey and bouncy houses at Shake it Off's Easter Egg Hunt with Bluey in Scarsdale. Alternatively, enjoy the magnificent cherry blossoms while learning about Japanese culture at the Sakura Festival at the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden. 

Kids are also invited to celebrate Earth Day Weekend with eco-themed STEM activities at the Westchester Children's Museum. Or, rock out to the Music of Taylor Swift for Kids presented by the Rock n' Roll Playhouse at Garcia's in Portchester.
