Weekday Picks for Connecticut Kids: Zumba, Science Fun & Easter Eggs Hunts March 30-April 3

This week finally promises some springlike weather, and with quite a few school districts on break, there are many opportunities to get outside and enjoy the warmer temperatures. Fun on tap includes Zumba, history and science activities, and Easter egg hunts in Fairfield County, Litchfield County and Central Connecticut.

Monday, March 30
Zumba for Kids and Parents – Norwalk
Kids and parents can get the week started right at the Norwalk Library with an activity that feels more like a dance party than an exercise routine.

Keeney Kids – Wethersfield
At this drop-off activity, kids will explore Wethersfield history with historical activities, tours, stories, and games at the Wethersfield Museum and surrounding sites.

Bite-Size Science at the Farmington Library – Farmington
Children ages 4 to 6 will learn simple scientific concepts and conduct fun experiments. Preregsitration required.

Thursday, April 2
Easter Egg Dyeing, Basket Decorating and Egg Hunting – Canton
Children ages 4 and up are invited to this drop-off event at The Little Green Tambourine where they will dye eggs, decorate baskets, and enjoy an egg hunt.

Easter Egg Hunt – Darien
Preschoolers will love this fun egg hunt on the ground of the Darien Community Association. There will also be an Easter bunny on hand for photos!
