Ready for some fun this weekend? Pumpkin Carving Contest

Registration starts at 10am, judging starts at 11am
Admission: Free
Hicks Nurseries invites families out for a Pumpkin Carving Contest. Categories for the contest include Best Decorated Pumpkin, Funniest Pumpkin and Best Carved Pumpkin. There is also a category just for children ages 12 and under.

Make your voice heard as a parent! Attend the 2011 Parents Convention and have your voice heard by political candidates. Take part in workshops and forums. Children's activities will also be on hand such as face painting, arts and crafts, fun and educational games and more. Lunch and childcare included. There will be donation boxes on site for nonperishable food items and school supplies.

Come and watch the lively classical story of a brother and sister who embark upon adventure in the woods. Theatre Three specializes in shows that cater to children. The shows last no longer than an hour and are filled with colorful props and encourage audience participation.
