It’s time for kids in Boston to break out the Easter baskets, because it's egg hunting season! We’ve rounded up some options for Easter egg hunts that take place in diverse locations—indoors and out—including parks, farms, local businesses, and even a carousel. Many of the egg hunts are for little ones only, but there are plenty of other festive activities like games, crafts, refreshments, and Easter Bunny photo-ops and brunches for any-age kids and parents.

You might be wondering if Park Slope needs another play space, but after you see the inside of a Korean-inspired Good Day Play Cafe, your answer will be a confident, "yes." Think: Stumptown coffee and cold brew, a Hinoki cypress wood cube sensory pit, and a clear view of the entire play area from the minimalist-chic cafe.

The owners, who already have a location in Queens, balance good food, inviting ambiance, and strong coffee with their kid-oriented play area to create a place adults and children can genuinely enjoy. Big Bounce America Brings Inflatable Fun for Kids This Summer

Kids, grab your best pair of socks and your most breathable T-shirts, because you've got some bouncing to do. The Big Bounce America, billed as "50 percent activity, 50 percent dance party," is coming to a location near you this summer. 

Featuring 20,000-square-feet of inflatable fun, what's billed as the world's largest bounce house and its colorful surrounding village, offer something memorable and enticing for every age group. Besides the bouncing, there's even a water slide and a massive ball pit. It will hit a number of Mommy Poppins cities in the next few months, including Boston, the NYC suburbs, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Houston, Texas, and even one of our favorite family vacation spots—Orlando.

New Mystery Mansion Ride to Open at Long Island's Adventureland

Soon there will be one more reason to visit Adventureland, the popular Long Island amusement park that’s been thrilling families for more than 50 years: Mystery Mansion, a brand-new, two-story dark ride, will be up and running early this spring.

“We felt our guests were looking for a change so we thought we would go out and find something that is very different for Adventureland and for Long Island,” Adventureland’s general manager Steve Gentile said. “We’re bringing to Long Island the first two-story, suspended dark ride. We’re calling it the Mystery Mansion because each time you come to the park you many find something new inside.”
