fd_logo_off.gifWe got lots of great reader responses in last week's Time and Money Saving Tips post with more great ideas. There's really too many to recap here, but here are my top 5 favorite, plus our giveaway winner and discount codes for everyone:

(oh, and don't forget to enter our Halloween Kiddie Cruise giveaway by Thursday).

OUR LATEST VIDEOS

1. Make a three column to do list and separate items into CALL, DO, and GO to more efficiently use those little windows of time you have throughout the day.

2. Rotate toys with your friends to save money and keep them fresh.

3. Make extra pancakes or waffles and freeze, then pop them in the toaster for a quick weekday breakfast.

4. Get ready the night before to make morning routine easier.

5. Divide snacks up into portions right when you bring the groceries home. This alone would not only dave me time, but save me money for all those times I have to stop and buy an expensive snack because I didn't bring anything from home.

Thanks for all the great tips. To read the rest of the tips, go back to the original post. But our random winner is "SammysMom" who will be getting $100 in free groceries from FreshDirect.

For the rest of us, we can just use these discount codes as much as we want until October 30th.
