Materials:
Clay or dough
String or ribbon
Small glass or jar to use as a circle cutter
Paint to decorate (optional)

1. Take a glob of clay and flatten it; use a glass to cut out a circle.
2. Make a fingerprint heart by pressing two of your child's fingers into the dough; thumbs work well.
3. Poke a small hole at the top (so you can string it later), then let the clay dry.

Once it's dry, hang it from a ribbon or string. Add paint or a few macaroni beads for an extra homemade touch.
