WeeWork Kids Craft: Make Clothespin Creatures
If you ever look at craft projects on Pinterest and envy gorgeous crafts that no normal human being could ever create, then this project is for you. This incredibly simple kids craft is basically fool-proof. No special artistic ability is needed to make these adorable little creatures and it turns your child's artwork into Pinterest-worthy playthings.
If you fold or cut the paper into quarters, that will make sure it's about the right size to be in proportion with the legs. We used construction paper, but slightly thicker card stock will make them sturdier for playing with.
2. Cut out the body. If they drew legs, just chop those off.
3. Add two clothespin legs. Make a set for imaginative play: a zoo or safari, alien invaders, or a family. The only limit is your imaginations.
Kids' work is to play. WeeWork is a Mommy Poppins series offering an easy daily activity for grown-ups and children to do together, making kids' work an important part of your day. We aim to inspire together time, creativity and fun using only your imagination and things around the house. You can see all our WeeWork activity posts here.
