Looking for the best things to do in Philadelphia this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your must-do list.

Winter is in full swing, but there are still plenty of things to do in Phillt. Do miss the Lunar New Year celebrations at Penn Museum, or free admission to the Benjamin Franklin Museum on Monday. Head over to the Fire and Ice Festival in Mount Holly, or out to Newtown Square for some ice skating at Flight on Ice. Enjoy some indoor mini golf at Linvilla Orchards or Skate With Characters at the Blue Cross Riverrink. Whatever you do, don't miss a minute of fun in and around Philly.

Looking for the best things to do in Los Angeles this weekend? Here are some of our favorite events and activities to add to your list this weekend

It's a wild ride this weekend, as Monster Energy AMA Supercross tears it up at Angel Stadium. The tributes to Martin Luther King start early, including a ceremony at the Carson Event Center and a concert at the Skirball. The Central Library goes all out for Lunar New Year, with an abundance of free activities such as a dumpling demo, a traditional cloth wrapping workshop, bilingual Vietnamese storytime, and a Lion Dance. 

Our hearts and thoughts are with those affected by the fires. Please check venue websites before attending any events this weekend for updates on possible event cancellations and business closures as a result of the air quality and fire conditions.

Best Snow Tubing in New Jersey for Families

Snow tubing is one of our favorite winter activities, and New Jersey has several great slopes to choose from. 

No experience or equipment is necessary, and you can go snow tubing alone or in groups. Snow tubing is a lot like sledding, but easier. You can barrel down the snowy slopes at thrilling speeds without having to hike back up the hill.

Read on for a list of local ski resorts that offer snow tubing in New Jersey and in nearby Pennsylvania and New York. Most slopes are open from roughly mid-December through mid-March.
