Things To Do in Westchester this Weekend: Toying with Science, Winter Hoot, Groundhog Day

See Gary Krinsky's "Toying with Science" at the Emelin Theatre on Saturday.

As mentioned in our hot-off-the-press February GoList, this month is loaded with reasons for festivities for Westchester and Hudson Valley families, and this weekend is no exception.

You might embrace the season at Old-Fashioned Winter’s Afternoon, with a log-sawing contest and other sorts of fun, or whoop it up at the three-day music-and-more Winter Hoot. But if you like FREE as much as we do, February is packed with ways to kick of the Year of the Rat, and this weekend’s Lunar New Year Celebration is one of the standouts. Or celebrate another holiday at It's Groundhog Day! (also FREE), one of several such events this weekend. If you're in the mood for a show, snag a seat to the STEM-fully entertaining Toying with Science.
