Christmas Tree Painted Wrapping Paper Holiday Craft
Deck the halls with boughs of holly, and paint your wrapping paper with boughs of spruce. With a little creativity this handmade wrapping paper will add a big bang to even the smallest of gifts. You can use packing paper from the post office, craft paper, or rolled up easel paper. Even a paper grocery bag will work - just remove the handles and split it open. Never run out of wrapping paper again. The scotch tape is another matter.

Pine Branches or Sprigs
Christmas tree paintbrushes are easy to make. Collect some pine branches from outside, or cut a few sprigs off of your Christmas tree. To set up, simply place a few different colors of paint out, and using the pine branch as your brush handle, simply swipe, swirl, dip, or dabble your pine branches around the paper. The pine needles create a beautiful abstract textured painting.
Show us what you make. Share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag @mommypoppins so we can see your creations too!
