As the birthplace of American freedom, Philadelphia is known for its historic sites, most of which offer family-friendly programming and hands-on learning for little ones. The Easter Bunny, in the weeks leading up to Easter (on April 1 this year), keeps as busy as Santa in December. We’ve tracked down some of the places in the Boston area where kids can hop on in, dressed in their Easter finest, to meet the Easter Bunny and get their pictures taken—and maybe even play some games or share a meal with him. Depending on the activity, only professional photographers may be permitted to take pictures, but be sure to bring your camera for great photo ops just in case!

Spring is in the air, and many of our scenic railroads are celebrating the season with Easter excursions.
