12 Great Restaurants in Atlanta for Easter Brunch and Dinner with Kids

Choose from a family brunch, picnic lunch, or dinner package at La Madeleine French Bakery.

Easter is a special time to get dressed up and enjoy family time. With the weather (hopefully) favorable in early April, it's also a great opportunity to dine al fresco at some of Atlanta's restaurants that serve up a festive Easter Sunday meal.

Families who prefer takeout have plenty of options, too.  Either way, we can still gather around the table to dye Easter eggs or perhaps another holiday craft; enjoy an Easter egg hunt in the backyard, balconies, or living rooms; and dress in our Easter best to share a special brunch or dinner with our families.

Family camping is a great way to bond with kids in the great outdoors. But for some children, there's only so much hiking and s'mores-roasting they can do before they start to get bored and cranky. And some kids just don't do well completely roughing it. That's why it's helpful to find a campground with extra activities and comfortable amenities for families.

We’ve got you covered with 10 family campgrounds within a four-hour drive from DC that offer fun family activities like pools, mini golf, arcades, and more, as well as some with cozy sleeping arrangements such as cabins, tree houses, and RVs. We tried to include a range of price points to fit any budget.

Once you've chosen your destination, visit our Camping Travel Guide. There, we share everything from classic and funny campfire songs to kid-friendly ghost stories to help make your family camping trip a success

With Easter around the corner, it’s time to fill those baskets and schedule your annual Easter Bunny pictures and meet and greets with everyone's favorite springtime celebrity. We’ve gotten ahold of his social calendar and rounded up opportunities for bunny encounters and other Easter fun for families in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

Whether you want to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny, ice skate, or join him on a train ride, there are plenty of opportunities. We recommend you hop to it, though, as limited capacity and pre-registration is required for many of these fun encounters.

For more Easter fun, check out our Spring Fun Guide, which has some fun at-home activities like these Easter crafts and egg dyeing ideas and 30+ ways to elevate egg hunts at home. We've also rounded up our top things to do in March, and our Event Calendar gets constant updates, too.

Are you ready to get out of town and see some new scenery? Covid cases are falling (yay!) but it’s probably still not the right time to book a flight to a favorite exotic resort or massive hotel. But a road trip to a vacation home rental somewhere in gorgeous, sunny California is just the ticket: meticulously cleaned before you arrive, no crowded spaces, and the chance to be someplace new, different, and fresh.

Since we’re not traveling to packed tourist destinations, we wanted to find the best places to visit where the actual vacation rental was part of the attraction—so here are treehouses, a-frames, cabooses, and space ships (seriously) that are on the beach, in the mountains, in the city, or on alpaca farms. Read on to discover where in California your next family vacation will be.
