From St. Patrick's Day parades to the arrival of spring and plenty of Easter fun, March is a great time to get out and enjoy Westchester and the Hudson Valley.
March features multiple celebrations of St. Patrick's Day, including the annual Luck of the Hill event at Ridge Hill, which has live music, dancing, and Irish flair. Also celebrated in March is Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors. Kids can get messy and learn about this fun and colorful festival at this Holi Art Party at Shake it Off.
Families can also reap the sweet rewards of the maple sugaring season in March at multiple events, including Maple Fest at The Ashokan Center and Teatown's Pancake Brunch and Maple Celebration.

Lucky you: Families can celebrate St. Patrick's Day with parades in Hermosa Beach and Ventura. More parades will march into the month, with the Swallows Day Parade in San Juan Capistrano and the rescheduled Golden Dragon Lunar New Year Parade in Chinatown. Easter celebrations begin at Irvine Park Railroad and Underwood Family Farms, and wild fun bounces into Griffith Park at the LA Zoo's Spring Fling.

From Purim to St. Patrick's Day and the arrival of spring, March is a great time to get out and enjoy Atlanta!
As we spring forward into March, families can enjoy outdoor events like the Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade with floats, bagpipes, and lots of green! Purim falls in mid March this year and families have several events to choose from like the Purim Carnival with a Cause in north Atlanta and MJCCA's Purimpalooza. Fans of the Harlem Globetrotters have the opportuniy to see the awesome antics of the basketball stars in Duluth at Gas South Arena this month. Finally, nothing signals spring in Atlanta more than the annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, with live music, fun kids' zone, food, and more.
