Sat Mar 22, 2025
1:00pm to 4:00pm PT
Age: All ages
Price: Free; Fee for grandstand seating
Location:
Chinatown
A new date has been set for this annual favorite. The 126th Golden Dragon Parade steps off on March 22, celebrating Year of the Snake.
The colorful celebration of the lunar new year steps off at Hill Street at Temple.
In addition to the giant dragon that gives the parade its name, floats, marching bands, entertainers, local business leaders, and cultural groups abound.
The event is free to the public. In addition, tickets for grandstand seating can be purchased online ($50). Tickets previously purchased for the original date are valid for this new date.
The parade starts at Hill Street at Temple toward Bernard, then goes right on Bernard, right on Broadway, and finishes at Broadway & Temple. This event is held rain or shine.
