Meet camp directors from about 40 day and overnight camps, traditional and special interest camps (arts, sports, STEM, etc.), teen travel and adventure programs, and camps for children with special needs. Camp Conrad Weiser

Camp Conrad Weiser welcomes you to its 600 mountaintop acres in Berks County, Pennsylvania. While session lengths range from 1-8 weeks, most campers come for 2- or 4-week sessions. A coed program is offered for campers 7-16 years old. Young people arrange their own schedules (with staff guidance), choosing from a wide range of activities designed to challenge campers according to their individual needs. Instruction is carefully adjusted to each child's age, interest, and skill. Programs are taught by trained and certified staff, providing the best and safest possible learning experience for each camper.

Camp Conrad Weiser activities include: horseback riding, swimming, boating, athletics, target sports, mountain biking, creative arts, nature, adventure, and teen leadership. Also offered is a variety of specialty theme camps, adventure trips, teen leadership camps, and international travel programs. Camp Conrad Weiser can't wait to see you on the mountain!

Camp SAY

Camp SAY is the life-changing summer camp for kids and teens (ages 8-18) who stutter. Camp SAY combines the highest quality traditional summer camp experience with comprehensive activities and innovative programs that empower young people who stutter. 

The American Camp Association (ACA)-accredited residential camp helps kids and teens who stutter build self-confidence and communication skills and forge friendships for a lifetime. Camp offers a broad range of activities including arts & crafts, performing arts, sports, waterfront activities, outdoor adventure, and much more. Camp SAY is hosted at Camp Pocono Springs, a brand-new ACA-accredited facility located in the Pocono Mountains. Sliding scale tuition and travel are available so that all children can attend.

Summer Camp | June 14-August 25

The sun is shining and summer is on its way! The Indian Valley Y offers a variety of summer camps. Your child will meet new friends while having a great time. Camps have themed weeks with crafts and activities. Outside play and swimming is encouraged to enjoy the fresh air. Teen camp is also available for your middle-school child. Teens cultivate a working garden where they grow their own fruits and veggies. Once a week they eat what they have grown as they prepare recipes for delicious treats. Lego Robotics and archery are also included. Camp offerings include 3, 4, or 5-day options.

Julian Krinsky Xploration is an opportunity for students ages 10 to 13 years old to enjoy learning, sports, and activities. JKCP boasts over 20 summer programs, which include tennis, golf, fitness, cooking, fashion, arts, robotics, and more. All courses are taught by professionals in their field. Students can choose the courses they want each week and get the unique opportunity to learn something new. Students reside at the private and prestigious Haverford College in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Today, students can follow their passions or try something new in the areas that interest them most, all in a safe and fun environment!

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

PAFA’s Summer Art Camp is for budding young artists ages 4 to 15. Conveniently located two blocks from City Hall in the beautiful, historic Landmark Building, this camp gives children the opportunity to explore the museum collection, learn from skilled instructors, and create artwork in safe and authentic art studios. Camps are taught by an Instructor and a Studio Assistant. Topics include skill-building camps like comic book drawing, painting, and animation. Campers eat lunch outside and take field trips to nearby museums, parks, and libraries. The program runs from 9-3 PM with free 8:30 AM drop-off and after-camp available from 3–5:30 PM for an added cost. This summer, PAFA is piloting 3 weeks of Pre-K bilingual camp for Spanish and English speakers ages 4-6.

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts - Camps

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts invites children to turn their summer upside-down—literally—during full-day Summer Circus Camp. Children five years old and up will train in static trapeze, aerial silks, juggling, plate-spinning, tightwire-walking, clowning, and acrobatics. Activities also include performance classes, co-operative games, and special guest artists. While balancing, climbing, and tumbling, children will build strength and flexibility, learn new skills, and increase their confidence. Full-day camp programs range from a one-week Junior Camp for 5 to 7 year olds to a two-week Youth Camp for 8 to 14 year olds. New camps this year include Circus Camp A La Carte for children who need a flexible schedule (pick a day or a week!) and Performance Intensive Camp for advanced students who want to train like the pros right here in Philadelphia.
